Kaitlin Braswell, RDE
Hi, I’m Kaitlin!
I’m a Registered Dietitian and I am passionate about helping women and families thrive through all stages of conception through postpartum.
My services are tailored to women in all stages of their motherhood journey who are looking for nutrition support to either conceive, have a healthy pregnancy, find healing postpartum and thrive through it all.
This focus is deeply personal to me since I am a mother and have seen firsthand the lack of support for women during this tender and transitional time. Through my nutrition services, I aim to support you a whole person, and in turn support your baby(s) as well.
I’m so honored to walk alongside you in this journey.
Research suggests that nutrition before, during, and after pregnancy can shape lifelong health. When it comes to supporting fertility, a healthy pregnancy, influencing baby’s development, lifelong immunity and metabolism metabolism while postpartum nutrition and supporting recovery, energy, and breastfeeding postpartum, what mom eats matters.

Nutrition matters before you even start trying to conceive. Your nutritional status and overall health can influence reproductive health, nutrient stores, and your body's preparation for pregnancy. Because some of the earliest stages of pregnancy occur before you may even know you're pregnant, building healthy habits and addressing nutritional needs ahead of time can help you enter pregnancy well-nourished and prepared.
Preconception nutrition counseling focuses on nourishing your body before pregnancy—not restrictive dieting or chasing a perfect diet.
Preconception nutrition support may include:
Personalized nutrition and lifestyle assessment
Prenatal vitamin and supplement guidance
Identifying and addressing potential nutrient gaps
Supporting healthy menstrual cycles and ovulation through adequate nutrition
Nutrition support for PCOS and blood sugar management
Guidance for vegetarian, vegan, and other specialized diets
Healthy weight gain or weight management when appropriate
Food safety and pregnancy preparation
Nutrition considerations for both female and male reproductive health
Building sustainable eating habits to carry into pregnancy
The goal: Help you feel nourished, confident, and prepared for pregnancy by giving your body the nutrients and support it needs before conception, not just after a positive pregnancy test.

Your nutritional needs don't end when your baby arrives—they change. The postpartum period is a time of healing, recovery, hormonal shifts, and major physical and emotional adjustment. Whether you're breastfeeding, formula feeding, or a combination of both, nourishing yourself is an important part of caring for your new baby and supporting your own well-being.
Postpartum nutrition counseling focuses on replenishing nutrient stores, supporting recovery, and making nutrition realistic during the demanding early months of parenthood.
Postpartum nutrition support may include:
Personalized postpartum nutrition assessment
Supporting healing and recovery after birth
Replenishing iron and other nutrient stores
Nutrition support while breastfeeding or pumping
Guidance on increased nutrient and fluid needs during lactation
Practical meal and snack ideas for busy new parents
Supporting energy levels and adequate nourishment
Managing constipation, nausea, appetite changes, and other digestive concerns
Nutrition support for postpartum blood sugar concerns
Guidance for vegetarian, vegan, and other specialized diets
Healthy, sustainable approaches to postpartum body changes
Preparing for the transition from breastfeeding to weaning
The goal: Help you nourish and care for yourself during a season when so much of your attention is focused on your baby. You deserve nutrition that supports healing, energy, breastfeeding, and your overall well-being—not pressure to "bounce back."
